- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪We've been going to Dr. Landa for the past 2 years. I had previous positive experiences but I believe this practice has gone downhill. I just recently had a bad experience with my children on our last visit. The office feels more like a dental farm now, just herding in kids like sheep. The kids' dental hygenist was extremely rude to me regarding my 3 yr old's teeth. She asked if I flossed with him and when I replied 'no', her demeaner was rude and she used the dental pick so harshly on my son's teeth that he cried hard when she was finishing. She clearly hurt him. She did the same with my other child who normally behaves very well in the dental chair. She also upset him and hurt him, and he's usually all smiles after a cleaning. His teeth hurt for 4 days after her cleaning - he only wanted to eat soft foods - which has never happened before. Last but certainly not least, upon checkout, I was given a summary page of the visit. There are 3 choices for teeth condition - good, fair, and poor. The dental hygenist marked off 'fair' and then rudely wrote 'Needs flossing!'. Neither of my kids had any cavities and their teeth are in 'good' condition, not 'fair'. It is also obvious that Dr. Landa is trying to upsell on every visit, scaring people into thinking they may need to do root canals and caps for young children on future visits - while they didn't even have a cavity. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Pati has been incredible helpful and caring person at Jacaranda Smiles. She is one in amilloin. Without Pati the office wouldn't be The same. Her smile and soft talk is contagious.
